We at PowerChord Productions are pleased to provide this service. We will help lone musicians without a band to get into one, and do it in enough time to play for our next show! Click here for info. Aren't we nice?

That's not too long from now, so make your plans today!

Originally it was to be on August 21st, but we could not find a place of venue in enough time. But the show is still a go!

If you're in a band and want to sign up for the show, click here.

If you just want to offer to help, give us feedback on what we should do better this time around, where we should hold the show, give us new ideas we haven't even thought of, just give us suggestions, or tell us that we should drop our things and stop what we're doing all together, click here.

For more information, well, we don't have any yet. But we will. Keep checking back here for updates.

Wow. It's been one day over a month. Sorry dudes and dudettes. The website creator thingie wasn't working for quite some time. But now its up and running again, and rather slower than usual, but at least it works. We actually have some big news. We now have access to ALL of the pictures Mr. Roleau took of the last BOB. Sorry it took so long. We have no clue why. But now, they are there for all to enjoy. In fact, to make it easy ('cuz we know you wanna see 'em), we will post a link right here. Go and enjoy, and be embarrassed when you see yourself.

TO BANDS:

I know your dying to get copies of all the pictures he took. We will stay in contact with ze Monsuier Roleau and see what we can do. We should have copies at least by the next show (which is still pending). In the meantime, you can contact him directly at blind@blindphotographer.net.

Well, now that that's settled, we can start focusing on the next show. See ya there! Right?

NEXT SHOW:

First of all, please notice that before it was stated that our next show would be in Rocklin. Well, maybe not. Fact is, we really don't know where. It still may be in Rocklin, but now there is also a chance it'll be in Folsom, Orangvale, or maybe even in Shingle or Diamond Springs! We would like you people's feedback on where you think the next show should be at, and at what venue it should be held at. In fact, we totally don't just WANT feedback, we NEED it. We want to make the people happy. So tell us how. (See "Next Show Somewhere" headline above.)

BANDS:

If you played at our last show, and want those sexy shots of your band that were taken by ze French dude Denis Roleau, just email us and we could get them to you. And, if you are also wondering about that live recording, don't forget to contact Ringger Studios. Check the Bands section for more info.

WEBMASTER'S NOTE:

Sorry that it's been so long for an update. The website creator server thing was down and wasn't working very well. But just because there is no update, don't be ashamed to keep coming back anyway to see all the other stuff. Our show is barely two months away now, and we don't want to procratinate things again, which also means that anybody who wants to contact us shouldn't procrastinate either. The sooner the better. If your band wants to sign up, do it ASAP, because its more likely you will get a slot that way. If you have an idea you want to tell us, tell us now, and then we may be more likely to possibly put that plan in action. That's why we put up our Contact page. We want to be Contacted! Don't assume we know completly what we are doing (although we mostly know). Oh yeah, and the pictures, they take a really long time to post up due to the way they were saved, so if you don't see all of them on here for a while, or never, don't complain. If you want some pictures, we can email them to you, BUT only if you CONTACT US! And lastly, for this website, well, this is my first one, and it actually takes a lot of time to manage it. But because I'm new to the whole deal, don't be afraid to CONTACT me and tell me what you think needs to be done to it, or just tell me I am doing AWEsome. I'll take positive and negative comments. Seriously, I won't cry if you think it sucks. But I'd like to know. So the main lesson of this note is.... CONTACT THE TEAM!

PHOTOS ARE NOW POSTED! Well, at least half of them. Be sure to take a gander.

6/2/04 -

We have added a link to the judged competition winner, Royale's, hot single, Riot. If you would like to download it, go to www.lookforyourself.com/royale, or you can just click on the underlined words and we'll take you there free of charge.

6/1/04 -

Well, the site is finally fully updated. Results are now posted.

Also, you can check out some photos (when we get them), and see our page of gratitude.

AND, we are sad to say that guestbook is leaving. Say buh-bye. We appreciate all the positive comments we received on it, but now for feedback we prefer to be contacted another way or to be left a message. The reason for this is well, frankly, there is no point in a guestbook. We provided it for feedback and there is no point to waste website space to post all entries up (because after all, it was a public forum), and we need that space to expand our site - and we WILL expand.

THE FIRST EVER EL DORADO HILLS BATTLE OF THE BANDS SPONSORED BY GUITAR CENTER AT GOLDEN HILLS WAS A COMPLETE SUCCESS!! Whoa, thats a long name for an event. How about the TFEEDHBOBSBGCAGH? Yeah, thats better.

5/28/04 -

Sweet. The Battle of the Bands is only a day away, and people are getting PSYCHED! All the way up to the radio! KWOD is coming to the show for at least most of the night, so there's even more to look forward to than we all expected! (But of course, we all know there was much to be expected anyway. Right?)

There's even more excitement in the radio world! 98 Rock has a link to this site on their website! (www.krxq.net) Under Concerts, if you scroll down to May 29th, it gives a full description of the Battle of the Bands! And if you click PowerChord Productions, it takes you here! This is exciting!

Word up to the new sexy logo! You can thank Greg Burnham for that. The guys a miracle worker. It took him like a half-hour from scratch. And thats not all he did. He made five more. Click on these links to check 'em out:

Also, we are proud to show off our new site look. With it, we included a guestbook (now defunct - we prefer you to leave a message). It is a sort of public forum for the people. So, if you have any comments, hints, tips, suggestions, and most definitely some complaints, feel free to add them in there (or you can leave a message - see below). PCP is still young and crying, and we hardly know what we're doing. Er, we know exactly what we're doing! Anyway, feedback is greatly appreciated. We like to make people happy. Happy people mean better events, and better events come from us. (You know, like the California cheese commercial - "happy cows come from California").....come on you can at least snicker....

OK fine, we're done with the cheese-y jokes. HaHA!

There is also a new "Leave A Message" feature on the site. It is a sort of electronic answering machine. Very convenient - for us and you.
